As of March 8th 2011 - We Vienna Folk Club are a Verein (society) - under the name Folk Acoustic Revolution (Verein zur Verbreitung Von Folk- und Volkstümlicher Musik) (viennafolkclub.org) - ZVR - Registerzahl - 977345274

Vienna Folk Club, has just found a NEW venue to be @ almost every Thursday @ 3rd Floor Cafe Concert. Toni at Weberknecht was getting complaints by neighbours & asked us to play downstairs, which isn"t suitable unless I make a big event, like a Festival. So we now have something a little smaller, which @ the moment fits with us.

We now have an Online Store @ Vienna Folk Club, selling Folk Acoustic Revolution merchandise, Folk Bands & musicians Cds & Merchandise & some musicial instruments. 3rd Thursday of the month is an Open Stage Folk Night. All are Welcome to come & play

We book band & musicians at the moment for almost  every Thursday - We like original music, no cover or tribute bands/musicians .
